Combine style and function with motorized shades and blinds. A motorized operating system lets you customize your window treatments for temperature, privacy, and security from across the room or across the world.

Motorization Systems can be operated by using a remote, an App or through home automation devices such as Amazon Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant. The remote allows you to set and operate different groupings of window treatments with a press of a button. To use the app as well as a home automation device, a Hub is required. The Hub connects your window coverings with the App on your smart phone or tablet through your WiFi network. Using the app on your smart phone or tablet allows you to operate your shades from anywhere. Rechargeable Motorization allows motorization at an affordable cost. Shades work without replacing any batteries and a shade can be operated up to one year on a single charge. When the motor appears to be slowing, plug the charger into the charging port on the shade and plug into a household outlet to recharge overnight. Most batteries can be recharged up to 500 times. For windows that are hard to reach, consider adding a small solar panel to the back of the shade. These solar panels work with the shade’s battery, so you never have to charge or replace the batteries. The most common motorized systems are PowerView, Simplicity, and Somfy.
